Tortuga Island
Tour

The journey to the island will take about 45 minutes. Upon boarding the Costa Cat Catamaran, the crew will welcome you with coffee, freshly made muffins, and fresh local fruits. Once at the island, numerous exciting activities are available, including a snorkel tour, an Eco trail hike, and a ride around the island on a banana boat. Lunch will be provided on the island. Additionally, there are various fee-based activities such as wave runners, paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boats, and the Aquanaut underwater experience.

Carara National Park offers countless opportunities for wildlife viewing. Situated in a transitional zone between a drier region in the north and a wetter region in the south, Carara boasts a wide variety of plant life with over 1400 species. It is home to one of the few remaining breeding grounds for the magnificent scarlet macaw. The tour includes a bilingual tour guide, park entrance fee, bottled water, hiking through the park trails, and round-trip transportation from the resort.

: The Monkey Tour starts at the small island of Damas, near Quepos. The property is located where two small freshwater rivers meet, surrounded by beautiful vegetation such as heliconias, gingers, ferns, guarumo trees, and palms. Visitors can observe nests of ants and termites and may also spot crocodiles, birds, snakes, and white-faced monkeys that often come to play near the boat. After reaching the mangroves and observing their intricate roots, which grow in a mix of salty and fresh water, you will gain a unique experience of how animal species interact in these two different and beautiful ecosystems full of nature.

Ride Jaco - ATV Tour

Rainforest Express (1 hour): this is perfect for those seeking a quick adventure near Jaco. The tour will take you outside of town, through the rainforest, on dirt roads and trails. Along the way, you’ll climb the riverbed to a small roadside waterfall, which is an excellent spot for taking photos. After that, you’ll head to a lookout point where you can enjoy the view of Jaco and the Pacific Ocean before returning. This tour is ideal for anyone looking to plan an exciting excursion for the next day.
Extreme Vista (2 hours): Enjoy a thrilling trail ride to the mountain tops around Jaco. Traverse dirt roads, trails, and riverbeds before reaching the peak. Take a quick break at a local rancho to grab a drink or use the bathroom while admiring the stunning view of the valley meeting the Pacific. Finally, descend the mountain and return to Jaco.
Waterfall Jumper (3 hours): adventure through the tropical rainforest. We’ll travel along dirt roads, river beds, and trails as we make our way to the mountain tops. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of the valleys and coastline before heading down to a beautiful waterfall and natural pool where you can cool off. We’ll then make our way back to town, taking plenty of stops for photographs, and even making a quick stop at a local rancho for a drink or bathroom break.
Expreme Rainforest (4 hours): embark on an adventure through the rainforest. Traverse dirt roads, remote trails, and riverbeds as you journey further into the wilderness. Halfway through the tour, take a break to cool off in a refreshing waterfall or natural pool before heading back to downtown. Depending on your riding skill level, our guide may alter the route, allowing you to explore new areas, visit different towns, and discover alternative waterfalls or natural pools. Let our guide show you a unique experience as you ride on different trails.
Full-Day Extreme Ride (6 hours): choose your vehicle and set out to explore the tropical rainforest surrounding the beach of Jaco. You will travel on a variety of roads, trails, and riverbeds to remote areas deep within the rainforest. Enjoy a typical lunch in the mountains along with a refreshing natural smoothie. Explore different waterfalls and natural pools that are not part of our shorter tours, and discover new areas that are rarely seen by most visitors!
